Product Description:
The protective fabric heat transfer tester is designed to measure the heat transfer of protective clothing exposed to flames.
Principle: The horizontally oriented sample is subjected to an incident flux of heat of 80 kW / m 2 emitted by the flame supplied by the burner placed below it. The heat passing through the sample is measured by close contact with the sample through the calorimeter copper plate above it. Record the time required for the calorimeter temperature to increase by 24 ° C ± 0.2 ° C, expressed in seconds, and use the average result of the three samples as the index for calculating the heat transfer.
Standards:
ISO 9151——Protective clothing against heat and flame -- Determination of heat transmission on exposure to flame
UNI BS EN 367——Protective clothing. Protection against heat and fire. Method for determining heat transmission on exposure to flame
Features:
(1) Easy-to-use automatic calibration and measurement functions.
(2) Color TFT display, numerical data and even temperature / time graph.
(3) Automatic burner ignition, with propane intrinsically safe control flow, equipped with electronic igniter
(4) The electric movement of the sample and the closing device allows positioning above the burner and the end of the test, withdrawing laterally.
