Solid Insulating Materials Tracking Test Apparatus
1, Scope of application:
The leakage tracking tester is designed on the surface of solid insulating material, with the specified size (2mm × 5mm) between platinum electrodes, apply a certain voltage and drop the polluted liquid (0.1% NH 4 CL) of the specified droplet volume at a fixed height (35mm) at a fixed time (30s) to evaluate the resistance of the surface of solid insulating materials under the combined action of electric field and polluted medium, and measure its comparative electric trace index (CTI) and resistance to electric trace index (PTI).
It is applicable to the research, production and quality inspection departments of lighting equipment, low-voltage appliances, household appliances, machine tool appliances, motors, electric tools, electronic instruments, electrical instruments, information technology equipment, as well as the industries of insulating materials, engineering plastics, electrical connectors and accessories.
2, Performance index:
(1) Electrode: two rectangular platinum electrodes with a sectional area of 2mm × 5mm,The edge at one end has a 30 degree bevel.
(2) The force exerted by the electrode on the surface of the sample is 1.0N ± 0.5
(3) When the short-circuit current is 1.0A, the drop value is ≤ 50V when the voltage is 600V
(4) Scoring judgment: 0.5A or more current lasts for 2s, cut off the power output
(5) Dropping device:
- The time interval of solution dropping is 30s
- Drop height: 30~40mm
- Dropping size: 20mm3~23mm3

(7) Equipped with force measuring device:
- (0.1 ± 0.002)% mass fraction of ammonium chloride (NH4CL) is diluted with distilled water.
